Tsholotsho FC, Dongo Sawmill share spoils

Tsholotsho FC coach Lizwe Sweswe was disappointed by the two points dropped rather that the single point earned in their Castle Lager Premiership match against Dongo Sawmills at White City on Friday. In a clash of new sides, hosts Tsholotsho took the lead when Ocean Ncube thrust them into the lead in the first half but Dongo rallied to even the scores after the break through Stephen Elias.

Sweswe feels his side spurned numerous scoring chances which could have swayed the game in their favour.

“Ocean scored first in the first half and they equalised after the break. We were supposed to have won the match but we did not take away the chances we created.

“We will work on our weak points during training and focus now is on the next game against Dynamos in Harare,” said Sweswe.
Dongo Sawmill chairman Francis Dongo felt that the point gained on the road was big motivation ahead of their match against CAPS United next weekend in Rusape.

“It’s a positive result to get a point and the guys should be motivated when we play CAPS United now,” said Dongo has placed the club on sale. Fixtures
